How to delete your account

1. Enter the email address and password you use to sign in to the TheWChat app.
2. Click Delete my account and confirm.
3. Your account is deleted immediately — no waiting period, no email required.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted immediately:

• Your profile (name, email address, phone number, photo, job title)
• Your login credentials and active sessions on all devices
• Your device push-notification tokens and notification history
• Your group and department memberships

Kept:

• Messages you sent in workspace conversations remain visible to their recipients (attributed to "Deleted User"), because they are part of your co-workers' communication records.
• Billing records required by law are retained for the legally mandated period.
